“The King: Eternal Monarch”
Woo Do Hwan took on two roles simultaneously in this SBS drama about parallel worlds. Plays both Jo Young, the Imperial bodyguard and best friend of Emperor Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) and Jo Eun Seob, a civil servant from the National Police Department, flawlessly demonstrated his duality as an actor. “My Country”, a drama that included both historical characters and fictional characters, gave Woo Do Hwan the opportunity to participate in his first historical drama. He played the role of Nam Seon Ho, a character who dreams of power and authority that go beyond his class and rank. The numerous action scenes, in addition to the emotional plot, are proof of Woo Do Hwan’s ability to play a role in every genre.
With this romantic comedy, Woo Do Hwan once again showed his versatility as a “20-year-old seducer” Kwon Si Hyun. He even got the nickname “Kwon Puppy” because he was a sweet, loving friend after successfully following Eun Tae Hee (Red velvet‘S joy). Woo Do Hwan played the witty and fearless ex-cheater Kim Min Joon, who joined the detective team to find out the truth about his brother’s death. In addition to his charming intelligence, he showed with detective team leader Choi Kang Woo (Yoo Ji Tae). “Mad Dog” will keep you safely on the edge of your seat!
