Watch: Shin Sung Rok and Lee Se Young struggle to solve two interconnected puzzles in "Kairos" teaser

MBC has released a new teaser for the upcoming drama “Kairos”!

“Kairos” is a “time-spanning fantasy thriller” about the interconnected fates of Kim Seo Jin (Shin Sung Rok), a man in despair after his daughter was abducted, and Han Ae Ri (Lee Se Young), a woman looking for her missing mother. From Kim Seo Jin’s point of view, Han Ae Ri lives exactly one month in the past – but after the two miraculously communicate with each other from different times, they embark on an exciting quest to save their missing loved ones.

The teaser begins when Kim Seo Jin answers a call in the pouring rain. The mysterious voice on the phone, believed to be his daughter’s kidnapper, asks him menacingly, “Kim Seo Jin, do you miss your daughter?” The scene shows Kim Seo Jin grabbing a suspect’s collar in an interrogation room to find out where his daughter is.

Next, over a scene in which Han Ae Ri smiles at a child, her voice says, “I saw her. The child named Da Bin. “The voices of Han Ae Ri and Kim Seo Jin then go back and forth as they confirm to each other that they are living in different months.

The tension in the teaser escalates when various clips of Han Ae Ri and Kim Seo Jin, running desperately, stand between a headline that reads “Two cases are connected between two times”. Kim Seo Jin is then surrounded by police officers who announce that he has been arrested as a murder suspect. In the midst of a scene from her mother in the hospital, Han Ae Ri moans on the phone, “I’m from the future.” A headline that reads “The One Minute That Will Change Everything” flashes by as Han Ae Ri yells, “Please save my mother!” The teaser ends in horror when a wound on Kim Seo Jin’s face disappears instantly.

Premiere of “Kairos” on October 26th at 9:20 pm KST.
