Watch: "Road To Kingdom" eliminates another group before Finale + Teams cover MONSTA X, MAMAMOO and VIXX

With the upcoming live final of “Road to Kingdom” next week, another group has left.

In the wake of the June 11 Mnet show, the third round continued as the remaining teams staged their “Your Song” performances. The groups were hired to play cover versions of songs selected by their collaborators, and things started with appearances by TOO, ONF, and ONEUS last week.

The second half of the mission was introduced later this week. PENTAGON were commissioned to cover MONSTA X ‘”Follow” and they set up the performance with a pharaoh concept and arrangement created by Leader Hui with choreography by Kino.

VERIVERY took over MAMAMOO’s “Gogobebe” for the mission and they decided to do it with an “Aladdin” concept. They also wanted to make a cinematic show by performing the show’s first one-take performance (filmed by a camera in a long shot, rather than collaborative footage).

The boyz played a cover of VIXX’s “Shangri-La”. Kevin got the act while Sangyeon added the idea of ”Moonlight”. Since “Shangri-La” means paradise, they ended up on the concept of “The Moonlight Sonata opens the gates to paradise”, and Q developed the choreography.

The show then announced the previous overall ranking with votes from the first, second and third round. ONF came in first!

Wyatt burst into tears and said, “We felt really uncomfortable. We never imagined in our lives that we would enter first. Even if we had imagined it, we could never get close to it. Our songs have not even reached a music card. “

J-Us commented that it was the first time in three years since their debut that they came first. He said, “I feel constipated.” Hyojin commented, “I felt we were recognized as good performers on stage. I was so happy.”

The complete ranking for all six groups was then announced.

When TOO last arrived, they were sent home and were the second group to be excluded from the show after Golden Child.

Jisu from TOO said: “Although it is sad, I think we have learned a lot from these high-level artists, which was really important to us. If we get such a good opportunity again in the future, we want to show how we work harder , look cooler and improve ourselves. Thank you. “

In her tearful interview, Chan started to cry when he said, “It’s such a shame. I want to tell the members that they have worked really hard. I want to say that I am proud to be in the group ALSO. “

Next week’s live finale will include ONF, The Boyz, PENTAGON, VERIVERY and ONEUS with new track appearances. The live competition has 35,000 points and 70 percent of the votes are cast by local viewers and 30 percent by international fans via the Whosfan app.

The final winner will be determined by a combination of votes from the final live broadcast, cumulative results from rounds one to three of the competition, cumulative views of video clips on Mnet’s official YouTube and Naver TV accounts and the digital result (according to the Hanteo Chart) . for each group’s comeback song, to be released on June 12 at 6 p.m. KST.

Road to Kingdom contestants are fighting for the chance to join Mnet’s upcoming show, Kingdom. It has already been announced that two groups could go from “Road to Kingdom” to “Kingdom”.

In addition to the final winner of the show, another group could be part of “Kingdom” as the team with the highest live final score is invited to participate in the program. However, if it happens that the group with the highest cumulative score in all rounds also comes first in the final, only one group will go to the “Kingdom”.

The “Road to Kingdom” finale will be broadcast on June 18 at 8 p.m. KST.
