Watch: Ji Chang Wook can't resist Kim Yoo Jung's spell in a hilarious new teaser for "Backstreet Rookie"

SBS’s upcoming drama “Backstreet Rookie” has released an entertaining new teaser!

“Backstreet Rookie” is based on a hit webtoon and is a romantic comedy about the unpredictable love story between Choi Dae Hyun (played by) Ji Chang Wook) and part-time employee Jung Saet Byul (played by Kim Yoo Jung).

The newly released teaser begins with a funny presentation of its protagonists. The uncontrollable, “200 percent wild” Jung Saet Byul proves that she is not afraid of a fight and berates some criminal students before she approaches her with a fierce look. While keeping the action going by defeating some men in a fight, tough part-time employee Choi Dae Hyun says in a voice-over: “For you, the supermarket is your life and your family’s source of income, but I have nothing to lose and nothing to fear. “

In the meantime, the gentle “200 percent clumsy” Choi Dae Hyun says to Jung Saet Byul: “I don’t think our personalities go well together.” Although he continues to appear frustrated by Jung Saet Byul’s antics, as if he caught trying to speak to him in an informal language (banal) he ultimately seems unable to resist her charms. The teaser ends on a cliffhanger. Jung Saet Byul leans forward for a kiss while Choi Dae Hyun stares at her in surprise.

“Backstreet Rookie” will premiere on June 12th at 10pm. KST. In the meantime, check out the new teaser for the drama below!
