MNH Entertainment has announced that Chungha has tested positive for COVID-19 and is in self-quarantine.
On December 7th, the agency released the following statement on Chungha’s official fan cafe.
This is MNH Entertainment.
We announce that the agency’s artist, Chungha, has tested positive for COVID-19.
Chungha recently found out that she had come into contact with a confirmed case and was being voluntarily tested. On the morning of December 7th, the test results were positive.
Chungha ceased all of her activities and immediately entered self-quarantine. It takes the necessary action as directed by the health authorities.
The agency’s artists and staff who have crossed with Chungha have been tested or are being tested and we will take follow-up as necessary [receive the results].
The agency will actively work with government guidelines and will sanitize headquarters, conduct a general inspection for further potential infections, and do our best to manage all of our artists.
Chungha had previously shared plans to release their first full album “QUERENCIA” on January 4th. She has revealed teasers for her pre-release single, “X”, due out on December 10th. MNH Entertainment has not yet announced how it will change its comeback plans.
