TWICE broke another new record!
As of July 2, TWICE’s ninth mini-album “MORE & MORE” sold 563,000 copies (based on Gaon Chart programs). This is the largest number of albums sold for a group of girls on Gaon Chart.
Previously, TWICE broke its personal record for stock pre-orders with “MORE & MORE” when the album exceeded 500,000 stock pre-orders on May 27. The group also broke their personal record number of album sales in the first week of its release.
In addition, the total number of Korean TWICE albums that have been sold to their latest album “MORE & MORE” since their debut album “The Story Begins” in October 2015 has reached over 5.26 million albums since July 3. The nine TWICE albums released in Japan were also sold a total of 3.57 million copies, increasing the total number of TWICE album sales to over 8.80 million.
After completing the promotions for “MORE & MORE”, TWICE continued to collect trophies for the album and achieved the 106th victory in broadcasting the music show. This is also the largest number of music broadcast wins in a group of girls. The title track “MORE & MORE” recently became their fastest music video with 100 million views.
Congratulations to TWICE on their new achievement!
