Suga from IU + BTS earns triple crown in the May Gaon charts; TWICE, BLACKPINK, + EXOs Baekhyun Top Monthly + Weekly Charts


Gaon Chart has released its latest monthly and weekly chart rankings!

IU and BTSSugaThe successful collaboration “Eight” reached a triple crown in the monthly charts after all three digital charts were swept: The song took first place in May of the entire digital charts, the download charts and the streaming charts.

Meanwhile, TWICE have earned a double crown in the weekly charts and, with their new mini album “MORE & MORE” and the title track of the same name, are leaders in this week’s album table and digital download table.

Monthly album chart

EXO’S BaekhyunThe new solo mini-album “Delight”, which previously debuted at # 1 on Gaon’s weekly charts, topped the physical album charts in May. NCT 127The repackaged album “Neo Zone: The Final Round” reached number two on the monthly chart NCT dreamReload, which received double platinum certification this month, remained strong in third place. TXT“The Dream Chapter: Eternity” debuted at number 4 on the table, followed by NU’EST’s “The Nocturne” at number 5.

Monthly download chart

IU’s “Eight”, both produced by Suga and showing him as an artist, led the digital download table for May. NU’EST’s “I’m in Trouble” came in 2nd of the month, NCT 127s “Punch” in 3rd, BOL4s “Leo” with Baekhyun in 4th and Baekhyuns “Candy” in 5th.

The five best songs from the entire digital and streaming charts were exactly the same in May: IU’s “Acht” (produced by and with Suga) topped both charts, followed by Jo Jung Suk‘s “Aloha” (from the OST of his TVN drama “Hospital Playlist”) in 2nd place, Oh My Girls “Nonstop” in 3rd place, BOL4s “Leo” (with Baekhyun) in 4th place and Gaho’s “Start” (from the OST of JTBC’s “Itaewon Class”) at No. 5.

Monthly social chart

BLACKPINK climbed to # 1 on this month’s social charts, followed by BTS at # 2, trot singer Kim Ho Joong at # 3, IU at # 4 and PSY at # 5.

Weekly album card

TWICE’s “MORE & MORE” debuted in the week from May 31 to June 6 at number 1 on the physical album charts, followed by Baekhyun’s “Delight” at number 2 and VICTON’s “Mayday” at number 3. The kit version of NCT Dream’s “Reload” entered the table in 4th place, while NCT 127’s “Neo Zone: The Final Round” rounded off the top 5 of the week.

Weekly download chart

TWICE’s new title track “MORE & MORE” was number 1 on the digital download charts this week, while Jeon Mi Do’s “I Knew I Love” (from the OST of “Hospital Playlist”) remained number 2. Baekhyun’s “Candy” came in 3rd place of the week, followed by Mido and Falasol’s “Me to You, You to Me” (also from the “Hospital Playlist” OST) in 4th place and VICTON’s new title track “Mayday” in 5th place.

Weekly digital chart

The top 5 of this week’s total digital charts were almost exactly the same as last week, with the exception of TWICE’s “MORE & MORE”, which was number 4 on the charts. Jeon Mi Do’s “I Knew I Love” came in at No. 1, IUs “Acht” (with and produced by Suga) in 2nd place, Jo Jung Suk’s “Aloha” in 3rd place and Oh My Girls “Nonstop” in 5th place.

Weekly streaming chart

The three best songs in the streaming table this week were exactly the same as the three best in the entire digital table: Jeon Mi Do’s “I Knew I Love” at number 1, IUs “Eight” at number 2 and Jo Jung Suks ” Aloha “at number 3. Oh My Girls” Nonstop “maintained its position at number 4 this week, while TWICE” MORE & MORE “debuted at number 5 on the charts.

Weekly social chart

BLACKPINK not only led the monthly social chart, but also remained number 1 in this week’s “Social Chart 2.0”. BTS held second, followed by Im Young Woong in third, PSY in fourth and Lee Chan Won in fifth.
