“Blazing Sonata”, a psychological thriller musical based on a bestseller of the same name, tells the story of a classical composer who one day witnesses a murder and realizes that by committing a murder he can compose better masterpieces.
The murderous composer J is played by Ryeowook, Hui and Kim Ji Chul. Js Muse and brilliant composer S is played by Joochan, Yoo Hwe Seung and Yoo Seung Hyun. Professor K, who drives J to the end for his own success, is played by Kim Joo Ho and Lee Sun Geun.
Ryeowook has appeared in several musicals in the past, including “Blazing Sonata”. Yoo Hwe Seung made his musical debut with “We Will Rock You” last year and this will be the first time Hui and Joochan have appeared in a musical.
The musical will be broadcast online in real time in September, so fans in regions such as the United States, Japan and Southeast Asia can also watch it. Ryeowook commented, “I find it exciting and refreshing that people from abroad can see this musical. I hope a lot of people will see it.”

“Blazing Sonata” will be performed from August 15th to 30th and from September 18th to 27th in Hall 1 of Uniplex in Daehangno.
