Real talent: 10 unforgettable Park Shin Hye K dramas for a binge watch

Park Shin Hye is one of those unbeatable K-drama actresses who has it all: beauty, amazing acting skills, pure heart, and an innate attraction that captivates her on and off the screen. She has proven time and time again that she can take on any role, be it a kind-hearted protagonist or an evil villain – and she has the ability to disseminate natural chemistry with everyone she works with. She also has a good grasp of choosing projects with a compelling story and character development. For this reason, she is the perfect actress with a long list of K-dramas that are guaranteed to be easy to see. Here are some of them:

Heavenly ladder

This is a bit old-fashioned, but Korean viewers fell in love with Park Shin Hye for the first time when she played Jung Suh, the young counterpart of Choi Ji Woo in this classic love story against all odds. As a calm, resilient teenager who suffered from the suffering of her evil stepmother and jealous stepsister, Park Shin Hye carried the weight of the role with an ability that contradicted her young age. She could make the audience cry and sympathize with her while showing the strength of her character. You will also find that you are interested in the adult characters that have been separated for many years. Jung Suh lives a new identity and has a faint memory of her past love.

“Tree of heaven”

This Japanese-Korean production is another drama that contains the title “Heaven”. It is as dramatic as the last one. This is the second time that Park Shin Hye and Lee Wan have worked together after showing immense potential in “Stairway to Heaven”. They also portray step-siblings in this drama, whose troubled family and situation bring them closer together. The drama shows the picturesque locations of both countries. Will they end up together or will they go different ways? This may be a classic K-drama trope that has been made before, but it’s still hard to resist!

Prince hours

This drama didn’t go as well as the originalGoong, ”But it still deserves a new watch. Park Shin Hye shows a different side through her character Shin Sae Ryung, an ambitious young lady who comes from a good family and does not stop at anything to achieve her goal. Her character is graceful, smart, almost perfect, but can sometimes be competitive and fierce. It is definitely a refreshing experience to see Park Shin Hye take on a role that is completely opposite to her good natured characters.

You’re beautiful

Another drama that got Park Shin Hye out of her comfort zone is “You’re Beautiful” in which she played Go Mi Nyeo, who disguises herself as her twin brother Go Mi Nam and joins a famous band around him to help get out of a difficult situation. She realizes that she longs for another life when she meets the pretty lead singer Hwang Tae Kyung (played by) Jang Geun Suk) who discovers her secret and tries to protect her from the beginning. This drama is funny, cute, and romantic, considering the antics of both main characters trying to find their way around this strange story. You will also fall in love with the equally cute and dashing bandmate Jeremy (Lee Hong Ki) and Kang Shin Woo (Jung Yong Hwa).

Heart strands

Just as in the case of “Stairway to Heaven” and “Tree of Heaven”, Park Shin Hye left the audience to see more of her with an actor she had previously worked with. Their chemistry with Jung Young Hwa was so strong that they met again in “Heartstrings,” a story about young love in a university setting, where a rock’n’roll guy did his nemesis (and ultimately his love interest) in a traditional one korean people meet music student. This drama is light, super adorable, and will satisfy your longing for Shin Hye and Young Hwa’s love ship that started in “You’re Beautiful”. With some of the cast members of CNBLUE, the soundtrack is undoubtedly a killer!

Flower boy next door

This is another cute drama with a fairly experimental concept: a reclusive woman named Go Dok Mi (Park Shin Hye) is a freelance editor who refuses to leave her home due to a trauma. She then meets Enrique Geum (Yoon Shi Yoon), a stubborn (sometimes crazy) neighbor who opens her world. When she is caught by Enrique, who spies on her crush from the confines of her home, they become unlikely friends, and other men help her. There is a lot of laughter and, of course, a feast for the eyes in this drama with a good-looking cast and unusual characters. This drama is a webtoon that was brought to life and explains the crazy characters and the exaggerated humor. It is a must for every Park Shin Hye fan!

Who could forget this combative but addictive drama about a group of rich children whose beliefs have been shaken by a lower status girl?
