PENTAGONJinho wrote a handwritten letter to his fans during military training!
On June 17, PENTAGON shared a warm letter from Jinho, who is currently on mandatory service after reporting last month. The idol, who is training at the Nonsan Army Training Center in South Chungcheong Province, gave a welcome overview of his life in the military and how he has adapted to his new environment.
Jinho also expressed his love and support for his bandmates and thanks to their fans as PENTAGON prepares for the live finale of Mnet’s “Road to Kingdom”.
Dear universe [PENTAGON’s official fandom],
Hello! I don’t know when this letter will come to you, but I hope you get it before the final round [of “Road to Kingdom”]! I work hard and work hard! I have a little sunburn (and it looks a bit strange because I have brown lines from my mask) but I eat well and I am fine. (Hehe, I’ve gained weight.)
I got your overflowing love from your letters, packages and internet letters (which really made me feel like a rich man, hehe) when I was training happily the past month! I’ve heard everything about how that [PENTAGON] Members are fine! Yay, [PENTAGON] I’m fine! To my colleagues who must have struggled to get to the kingdom; the universe that worked so hard to cheer us on; and even to a new universe that has just joined us! Thank you very much and you worked hard.
I learned how to fall asleep, even if it’s a bit loud, how to get back to sleep immediately when I wake up in the middle of the night, how to shower in seven minutes, how to read 10 books in five weeks (and also, how to do what you say without thinking “why?” … hehe). Oh! Also weapons, grenades and first aid. In any case, I have become a stronger version of myself.
Of course I would be very happy if [PENTAGON] did well on the 18th and made it onto “Kingdom”, but even if we don’t, it’s okay. We all did a good job and worked hard. [It’s okay] because people knew we did a good job with our music and performances, and they knew we were sincere!
You will keep an eye on us in the future, right ?! I hear the corona virus is getting a second wind … until a complete cure is discovered, we should all be careful and avoid places with a lot of people, even if it’s a bit frustrating, okay ?! Promise! If I can buy a cell phone, I will update you [on how I’m doing]. Please do not skip meals and do not get sick. Please stay healthy. I really love you. (Ugh, I didn’t manage to draw a heart.)
By Jinho, who thinks of the universe in his training center.
The final of “Road to Kingdom” will be broadcast live on June 18 at 8 p.m. KST.
