NCT Dream put Billboard on the “21 Under 21” list for the third year in a row!
On November 6, local time, Billboard released this year’s “21 Under 21” list, an annual selection of the 21 young artists who have made the greatest impact on the industry over the past 12 months. The 2020 list, which included singers like Billie Eilish, Koffee, 24kGoldn, and Noah Cyrus, was selected by a committee of Billboard editors and reporters who considered factors such as “artist influence on consumer behavior”, “career path” and “Peer Reputation” and more.
Not only was NCT dream They’re the only K-pop artists on this year’s list, but with their inclusion in the latest ranking, they’re the first Asian artists to be on the list for three years in a row.
Billboard noted that NCT Dream’s newest mini-album “Reload” had them catapulted to the top of the Billboard Emerging Artists chart earlier this year – and that NCT’s second album, “RESONANCE Pt. 1”, recently hit # 6 on the Billboard 200 and # 1 Reached 1 on the world album list.
