TWICENayeon graces the cover of Cosmopolitan Korea’s November issue!
In an interview on her picture, Nayeon shared that she’s recently been preparing for the group’s entire album and spending time with her peers. She said, “I’m the type of person who likes to do lots of fun things. I learned baking, cooking and pottery. I thought of studying glass art with a member who wanted to, but the timing didn’t work out. If I have the chance, I would like to learn to bake again. “
It has been described that Nayeon is known among the members and their fans for being mentally strong. “For a long time, I always tried to shake off emotions like sadness or exhaustion as quickly as possible,” she said. “I think it’s natural to feel these types of emotions, and I tend to think positively.” She identified her family and colleagues as the people who have an influence on keeping her spiritually strong.
TWICE will celebrate her fifth anniversary later this month, and Nayeon has been asked to share her thoughts on reaching that point in her career. “I think we’re working harder than we did on our debut,” said Nayeon. “You could say that in the past we were satisfied when we did all the things that were given to us and by comparison I think we have more passion and ambition now because our albums, performances and photo shoots have it all are what we are creating. This is because there are now more opportunities to reflect our thoughts and opinions. “
On the subject of her upcoming second full album, Nayeon said, “It contains 13 songs that are retro music and are good for fall and winter. We work hard on every album, but since full albums seem very meaningful to fans, we try to do things like content and promotions that we haven’t done before. “
TWICE’s new album “Eyes wide open” will be released on October 26th with the title track “I CAN’T STOP ME” by Jin Young Park. Check out their previous teasers here!
