MONSTA X's Hyungwon enters self-quarantine and his drama halts filming after the COVID-19 case is discovered on the set

MONSTA X‘S Hyungwon‘s upcoming drama “Fly Again” (literal translation) has temporarily stopped filming after someone involved in the production tested positive for COVID-19.

On August 1, Hyungwon’s agency announced that while filming the drama he had come into close contact with the person who has since been diagnosed with COVID-19.

While Hyungwon himself tested negative for the virus, he went into self-quarantine as a precaution.

A representative from King Kong by Starship said, “Hyungwon’s COVID-19 test results are negative. However, since he was classified as close contact [of the COVID-19 patient], he is currently in self-quarantine. “

Hyungwon’s “Fly Again” co-star Lee Seung Heon, who also came into close contact with the confirmed case of COVID-19, has similarly gone into self-quarantine despite negative tests.

“Fly Again” is reportedly in the process of adjusting its schedule following this unexpected development.
