Mnet announces the launch of "Show Me The Money 9"

Mnet has officially launched a new season of “Show Me the Money!”

“Show Me the Money” is a popular rap competition show that has been broadcast on Mnet since 2012. The last winner of the 2019 season was Punchnello and the BGM-v Crew producer crew.

On July 20, it was announced that Mnet will now accept applications for the show through August 21. Applications can be submitted via the official email address, website or Instagram. Anyone who likes rapping and having fun is encouraged to apply.

Show Me the Money 9 is reportedly planning to launch a new competition system and the usual variety of talented producers. The biggest difference in the new season will be the final price. The winner of “SMTM9” receives the title “Young Boss” as the new protagonist of the Korean hip-hop scene. Along with the prize money awarded in previous seasons, the winner will receive a substantial investment in their music production, which comes from album production, concerts, marketing and other business ventures.

“Show Me the Money 9” will be broadcast sometime in the second half of the year.
