Channel A’s upcoming drama “Lie After Lie” has unveiled new posters of its main characters!
“Lie After Lie” is an exciting melodrama about a woman who starts a false romance to become the stepmother of her birth daughter who was adopted by another man. The drama stars from Friday to Saturday Lee Yoo Ri, Yeon Jung Hoon, Lee Il Hwa, I’m Joo Eun, Kwon Hwa Woon and more.
Lee Yoo Ri plays Ji Eun Soo, the daughter-in-law of a Chaebol Family that turns into a husband-killer in a moment. The child who gave birth to her in prison was adopted by someone else and she is determined to do everything possible to become the mother of her child again.
Lee Yoo Ri appears solemnly on the poster, but she wants to do everything for her daughter. The text reads: “Love, there is nothing I can do.”
Yeon Jung Hoon portrays Kang Ji Min, a television reporter who looks cold on the outside but has a warm heart. He is a firm supporter of those who are considered outcasts. He is respected as a reporter, but at home he is a fond single father.
His poster says: “I believe your lies” and he shows a small, warm smile.
Meanwhile, Lee Il Hwa takes on the role of Kim Ho Ran, CEO of makeup company D.O Cosmetics. Kim Ho Ran is also Ji Eun Soo’s mother-in-law and they will face tense confrontations.
In the poster, Lee Il Hwa creates a cold atmosphere and seems to express both light and dark. Her poster reads: “Where did it start to go wrong?”
Next comes Im Joo Eun’s poster that says, “I wanted to see you, even if it meant going to that length.” The poster shows her character Eun Se Mi, who seems to be looking at someone. Eun Se Mi is Kang Ji Min’s ex-wife and it goes wrong when she gets involved.
Kwon Hwa Woon rounds off the main cast as Kim Yeon Joon, who is innocent and honest when it comes to love. His poster says: “I will protect you from now on.”
The premiere of “Lie After Lie” will take place on September 4th at 10:50 pm. KST and will be available on Viki.
