“Secret Royal Inspector” is a comical mystery drama about a secret royal inspector who goes undercover in the provinces to bring justice, expose corruption and solve people’s problems. A secret royal inspector was a real government position in the Joseon Dynasty specifically appointed by the king.
Kim Myung Soo plays Sung Yi Kyum, an official from Hongmungwan (Special Advisers’ Office) who is appointed the secret royal inspector. Kwon Nara plays Hong Da In, a Damo (a woman who works for a Joseon government office) who claim to be gisaeng (Courtesan trained in music and art).
In the new stills, Kim Myung Soo sneaks out for a fun night out as his character loves to play in secret. He meets Kwon Nara, who as gisaengand she smiles brightly at him as she takes his arm.
In another series of stills, Kwon Nara brings out the natural elegance of her character as well as her spirited facial expressions.
