Kim Min Jae and Park Eun Bin choose their favorite scenes "Do you like Brahms?"

Kim Min Jae and Park Eun Bin from “Do you like brahms? “chose her favorite scenes from the drama!

“Do you like Brahms?” is a love drama about classical musicians who are torn between their dream and the harshness of reality when they pursue their love of music. Kim Min Jae plays the world-famous pianist Park Joon Young, while Park Eun Bin plays Chae Song Ah, an aspiring violinist who comes into the field later than her peers.

Park Eun Bin selected a scene in the first episode in which her character Chae Song Ah meets a child who asks her if she is good at playing the violin. She met the kid the same day she was chased off the stage on which she wanted so badly to perform with the harsh words “then don’t be the last”. Chae Song Ah made a deep impression on the audience when she said to the child, “I like it a lot.” Her answer implied that while she wanted her passion for the violin to be reflected in her technical ability, sometimes talent doesn’t always follow hard work.

Park Eun Bin also chose Chae Song Ah’s tearful confession to Park Joon Young in Episode 6 as another memorable scene. Even though Chae Song Ah tried to hold back her feelings for him, she couldn’t hold back any longer when she turned to Park Joon Young and said, “I like you.” Park Eun Bin portrayed her character’s emotional state through small details like her trembling gaze and hand movements, which led to the creation of a particularly memorable confession scene.

Park Eun Bin explained her reason for choosing the scenes: “The scenes in which Chae Song Ah has the courage to confess two things – her love for the violin and her feelings for Park Joon Young – are unforgettable to me. I expressed her love for the violin as a love that has been deeply buried for a long time, but I tried to express her admission to Park Joon Young as an accidental explosion of her feelings that she could no longer hold back. I’ve worked hard to express these feelings, so these scenes are very important to me. “

Kim Min Jae also selected a scene from Episode 1 in which his character Park Joon Young accompanied an orchestra. Kim Min Jae worked hard to prepare for his role as a pianist by not only practicing on the instrument but also studying the outfits, hairstyles, and habits of real pianists. His endeavors were realized when he demonstrated his exceptional piano skills by performing a Rachmaninoff piano concerto.

Kim Min Jae then selected a scene in the third episode in which Park gave Joon Young Chae song Ah comfort and consolation by playing Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” and converting it into the song “Happy Birthday”. Park Joon Young then asked Chae Song Ah, “Do you want to be friends? Wait, we have to be friends, ”and hugged her while she cried.

Kim Min Jae commented, “I really enjoyed filming the scene where I play the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto, and I’ve tried hard too, so I really like that scene. I also remember practicing hard to film the “Moonlight Sonata + Happy Birthday” scene. I played the piano on the set and rehearsed the scene with Park Eun Bin. I like this scene because I think the emotions I was trying to evoke were well expressed. “

The next episode of “Do you like Brahms?” will air on October 19 at 10 p.m. KST.
