JTBC dramas resume production after being paused to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
On Sept. 4, a JTBC source stated, “The upcoming drama” Private Life “has resumed filming of scenes that can be shot while adhering to non-broadcast guidelines.”
In August, several dramas halted production after several dramas confirmed cases of COVID-19. “Private Life” (working title) suspended production to await test results from an employee who was working on the set of another drama with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
“Personal Life” Stars Go Kyung Pyo and girls’ generation Seohyun in a story of scammers using their skills to expose the nation’s “private life”. The premiere was scheduled for September 16, but the air date is currently under review.
Other JTBC dramas that are ceasing production include “18 Again”, “More than friends, “Run On”, “Live On” and “We’re All Dead”.
“18 Again should premiere on September 7th. Although filming has resumed, the broadcast date is now also being checked.
“More than Friends” has resumed filming and its premiere date has been postponed from September 18-25.
