In the latest episode of KBS2’s “Weekly Entertainment Live” actor Jang Hyuk looked back on the projects of his career.

In the drama “School” (1999) Jang Hyuk played a young, rebellious character. When asked if he was the same in real life at this time, Jang Hyuk said, “There were times when my feelings dictated my actions.” Jang Hyuk added that he must now be drunk before he can act his younger years can see.

The actor, who is known for his action skills, said: “A long time ago, while the film Zzang (1998) was being made, there was an accident and a stunt man was injured. After seeing this, I tried to do all of my action scenes myself. “

Jang Hyuk regularly practices Jeet Kune Do, boxing and horse riding. He said, “When you’re in a historical drama, you have to use a sword and ride horses.”

Commenting on his experience in historical drama, Jang Hyuk said, “My first historical drama was Daemang (2002). I was young and too inexperienced to handle it. If ISlavers“(2010) I had learned a little more.”

Jang Hyuk talked about his upcoming movie “Swordsman” (literal title) and described it simply as a “fast-paced action movie”. He worked with Joe Taslim on the film and said, “He’s on the Indonesian judo team, so he was on a different level. We mostly communicated with body language so we didn’t have a language barrier.”
