Disneyland and Disney World have both been closed since mid-May. And while Disney Parks definitely wants to get back into operation this summer, a reopening date is still undetermined. They have published the official recipe for their coveted blue milk.
Blue Milk was first seen in A New Hope. Aunt Beru’s favorite drink, Luke Skywalker, drinks the delicious liquid on Tatooine before Stormtroopers lights up his foster parents in search of a pair of droids. Since most of us are still self-isolating, the blue milk recipe can now serve as a small kitchen vacation in a distant galaxy.
However, you will want to get a grocery store up and running as it is doubtful that many of you have some of these required ingredients. Your local supermarket may not even have them on the shelves. But all the ingredients you need are from Earth, so you may need to order some of these things online.

Many Star Wars fans have wondered what Blue Milk tastes like, and now there is no telling when they can visit them Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for yourself. So go guys. This is what you need to do some at home for your self isolation.
Disneyland Galaxy Rand Bantha Chai

- You need the following:
- 2 cups of rice milk (or milk of your choice)
- 2 teaspoons of arrowroot powder
- 1 blue butterfly pea teabag
- 1 inch fresh ginger root, thinly sliced
- Pinch of ground cardamom
- Pinch of ground mace
- 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar to taste
- How to do it:
- 1. Whisk milk and arrowroot powder in a small saucepan. Place on medium heat.
- 2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan and mix, stirring occasionally, until steamed.
- 3. Let the mixture steep for approx. 5 minutes until it has a rich blue color and smells strongly of spices.
- 4. Remove from the stove and strain into a mug. Enjoy immediately.
