Now he’s changing alliances when he goes to the DC camp for a new Netflix series called Sweet Tooth. He’s not really going to be in the new TV show. Instead, he will produce with his wife.
Human / animal hybrids travel through a post-apocalyptic paradise Sweet tooth, a new Netflix series based on characters from DC. The eight-episode series comes from Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey, and Amanda Burrell from Team Downey.
The Sweet tooth The series comes from Team Downey and Warner Bros. Television. It was created by executive producer / director Jim Mickle with Beth Schwartz (arrow, DCs Legends of tomorrow) As an executive producer and co-showrunner.
Sweet Tooth is the engaging, family-friendly fairy tale adventure of Gus, partly a deer and partly a boy, who leaves his home in the forest to find the outside world devastated by a catastrophic event. He joins a ragged family of hybrids of humans and animal children like him to find answers to this new world and the secret behind its hybrid origins.
The series will consist of eight one-hour episodes in its first season. The show is played by Christian Convery (Beautiful boy, Tiger rises, Play with fire), Nonso Anozie (The laundromat, zoo, game of Thrones), Adeel Akhtar (Les Misérables [TV series], Victoria & Abdul, The big sick) and Will Forte (The last man on earth, Saturday night live) with James Brolin (Life in pieces, Amityville horror, Westworld) as the narrator’s voice.

Executive producers are Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey and Amanda Burrell from Team Downey; and Linda Moran. The series is produced by Team Downey’s Evan Moore. The studio behind the series is Team Downey in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television. The animated project is based on characters that Jeff Lemire created for DC.
Robert Downey Jr. is no stranger to superheroes and comic book features. He played Iron Man for over ten years. This is the first time the actor, often known as the built Marvel, has worked for DC Comics. At the moment, however, that’s strictly behind the scenes. It is also the first time that Robert Downey Jr. and his Team Downey family have worked exclusively for Netflix. RDJ was last seen on the big screen last January Dolittle, which was not preferred by critics, but found a nice niche in the family market. It seems that Downey is interested in continuing the family entertainment tradition Sweet tooth.
