CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa announces the contract extension to fans

On October 24th, CNBLUE Jung Yong Hwa went to Twitter to share his thoughts on the band’s contract renewal news.

Earlier this week, FNC Entertainment confirmed that CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa, Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin had renewed their contracts with the agency and that the band was planning a comeback before the end of the year.

Hello everyone, this is Jung Yong Hwa. To BOICE [CNBLUE’s official fanclub]It’s been a long time since I’ve greeted you.

I’m writing because I wanted to speak honestly to you about our contract renewals and our new promotions as we approach our first comeback in three years and eight months.

There have been various incidents, but I couldn’t speak or act easily as a leader, so I was sad and disappointed at that time. The responsibility of expressing these worries in my head through words weighed heavily on me.

After serious deliberation and discussion with the members, our families and the staff at FNC for a year, we decided that this was the best choice for us to protect the CNBLUE name, make good music in that name and get back together with BOICE to be. While we may be missing something, we decided to push the contract renewal with a new mindset.

Aside from us, the fans must have been worried, worried and painful too. When I think about it, I can only be grateful and sad. I believe there will be a time when we can freely share our thoughts, even if these concerns are difficult to talk about.

However, CNBLUE is always sincerely grateful to BOICE, who have been waiting for us warmly despite the difficult times they must face. We will not forget this gratitude and look forward to having happier times with you through various actions.

The only way to repay fans who have waited so long for us is to keep making music despite all the situations and to show that we haven’t changed our attitudes towards our fans and our music.

It is a source of great strength for us that BOICE always watches over us. It is absolutely true. I will keep this promise to be with you.
