BTS‘S newest album continues to go strong in its second week on the Billboard 200!
Last week, BTS made history when their new album “BE” debuted at # 1 in Billboard’s Famous Top 200 Albums, the weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the US. The group’s new title track “Life Goes On” also debuted at # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making BTS the very first male artist – and only the second overall artist in Billboard history – to debut a song and album at number 1 the two charts in the same week. (The only other artist who has accomplished the feat so far is Taylor Swift.)
On December 6, local time, Billboard officially announced that “BE” was number 3 in the chart in its second week on the Billboard 200. According to Nielsen Music, the album earned 55,000 equivalent album units in the week ending December 3rd.
Billboard’s full charts for this week will be updated on the official website on December 8th.
Congratulations to BTS!
