BTS“Map of the Soul: Persona” has achieved gold status in the UK!
On September 4, local time, it was announced that BTS ‘mini-album “Map of the Soul: Persona” has received BRIT gold certification. The album was released in April 2019 and contains the title track “Boy With Luv” with Halsey.
BRIT Certified Awards are given by the British Phonographic Industry, the trade association for the British music industry. Albums with sales of 100,000 units are awarded gold.
This is the second BTS album to be awarded gold in the region after Love Yourself: Answer, the first album by a Korean artist to accomplish the feat. BTS is still the only Korean act with a gold album in the UK and has now expanded their record to two albums.
