BLACKPINK achieves its highest ranking so far on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Ice Cream" collab with Selena Gomez


BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez ‘collaboration “Ice Cream” debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100!

On September 8, local time, Billboard announced that “Ice Cream” was number 13 on this week’s charts. The Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs in the US in all genres based on streaming, radio airplay and sales data.

This is a new career high for BLACKPINK, who previously reached number 33 in the charts with their song “How You Like That” and also with their Lady Gaga collaboration “Sour Candy”.

“Ice Cream” was released on August 28th, and according to Nielsen Music / MRC Data, it sold 18.3 million US streams and 23,000 downloads in the first week ended September 3rd. In addition, 5.1 million radio airplay viewers were reached in the week ending September 6th.

“Ice Cream” debuts at # 2 on the Digital Song Sales table and # 8 on the Streaming Songs table. In the Pop-Songs-Radio-Airplay table, “Ice Cream” takes 32nd place, making it the first BLACKPINK track to be included in the table.

The Billboard website will update the charts for this week (September 12th) on September 9th.
